ALASKA FLY TO FLY
Before Star Trek the last frontier was considered Alaska, not Space: endless kilometres of meadows, forests, rivers, ice, mountains and very few people. Nowadays things haven’t changed that much: Alaska is still one of those places where it is possible to lose oneself, passing months on end without seeing human beings. This is Paul Gushlbauer’s idea, an Austrian paraglider with the passion for exploring: fly to fly, living an adventure “Into the Wild”, but without biting the dust in an old, abandoned school bus. Fly to fly means two things. The first, is very practical: to use a small bush flying aircraft to go further, to paraglide over areas which would otherwise be impossible to reach. The second, more complicated, has the elusive and gratifying taste of dreams coming true.
