Description
This classic, timeless, yet highly functional waterproof jacket is built with a hybrid combination of materials and high-quality workmanship.
Named after the Fanes mountains in the north-western highlands of the Dolomites, the Fanes Hemp Powertex 3L Jacket’s Powertex® cotton hemp main fabric (65% cotton, 35% hemp) has a 3-layer laminate construction with a solid waterproof rating (water column) with fully sealed seams that can withstand up to 20,000 mm of water pressure. Its performance on the breathability front is equally impressive. Moreover, the natural cotton-hemp surface has a pleasant, textured feel.
The sophisticated details enhance the overall comfort and usability. There’s an adjustable hood, snap button front closure for additional ventilation options, snap button cuffs and two zip-secure side pockets, plus an internal Durastretch softshell stash pocket at the same height as the hand pockets.
This is a Salewa Committed style: in addition to meeting strict environmental and social responsibility standards, it has a PFC-free durably water repellent (DWR) finish.
