Fanes Hybrid Wool Men's Jacket

Our Fanes Hybrid Wool Jacket combines traditional South Tirolean piqué knit wool with contemporary styling and modern performance fibres. It’s made of our lightweight, comfortable blended Alpine Wool Iconic fabrics and is ideal for travel, active alpine and everyday use. Wool is the ideal alpine insulation material – its fine crimped fibres with their hydrophilic (water retaining) cores, trap air and absorb moisture to provide natural thermo-regulation. It keeps you warm and comfortable, lets your skin breathe and prevents odours from forming. At the torso, we use 320-weight piqué knit wool (recycled from post-consumer sources) blended with synthetic fibres in a lofty, waffle construction to offer additional versatility. As such, it has 4-way stretch for good freedom of movement and prevents overchilling in wet and windy conditions. For the sleeves, side inserts and hood, we use Polarwool – a soft and natural hybrid fleece made in a special knitting process with 75% merino wool and 25% synthetic fibre content for warmth, stretch and greater breathability. The Fanes Hybrid Wool Jacket has two pockets, a sleek front zip, a tailored hood, comfortable stretch cuffs and a stretch binding hem to seal in warmth.
