This can leave you uncomfortable, with your back and shoulders drenched in perspiration and at risk of overcooling. While functional apparel has good solutions to manage perspiration transport, existing backpack solutions are not efficient enough yet.

Salewa has developed a new generation of backpacks that ensure a better result. Their carrying systems keep the load close to your body, yet ensure that your back remains dry. Salewa’s R&D team have developed completely new reduced contact surfaces, technical constructions and breathable materials. The minimized body contact and enhanced airflow for increased ventilation enables a reduction of 1,5 degrees Celsius in body temperature under identical conditions.
