WHAT ALPINE TREKKING MEANS TO US
Sometimes you have to disconnect, if you want to reconnect. You must get rid of your daily routine, of that dreadful mixture of convenience and stress, if you want to get in touch with who you really are.
This is alpine trekking: going up there, in the majestic beauty of the mountains following a dream and a long trail, sleeping under the stars, or in a remote mountain hut. That’s why all our alpine trekking products are engineered to be light and warm, breathable and easy to pack. You will need that extra jacket, up there.
No worries: it will surely fit into one of our lightweight and comfortable packs, built to be completely adjustable and to keep your back dry. You will walk on a lot of different terrains, from soft meadows to steep rock, from crumbling gravel to deep mud: so give a look to our shoes, built to be precise and safe on every terrain, but also comfortable for all the time of your trip.
It’s time for an adventure: go alone or with your dear ones, this is up to you; what matters is that you go out there.
Choose your path, take some days off, pack your tent. Tie your boots, and just go: the mountains are waiting.
WHAT SPEED HIKING MEANS TO US
Speed hiking: rapid hiking, moving quickly for long distances over technical, rocky terrain both on and off trail means improved physical fitness, increased energy, and inspiration for living a healthier life. Travelling fast means that you can cover greater distances and see more the same time period. It’s all about the inherent joys and freedoms of going fast and light and broadening your horizons. The Dolomites, with their majestic summits and beautiful valleys are an amazing environment to train in. They inspire us to produce the highest performing products.
Speed hiking footwear is built for fast-paced, rapid activities. Their lightweight designs mean that there is less weight to for your legs to lift, but they still offer good grip, traction and support. Along with footwear, a comfortable pack is your most important kit choice. The lower the volume and the less it weighs before you put your kit in it, the better. Our speed hiking packs are built with split shoulder straps and ventilated carry systems to keep your back dry. Exploring new trails, training for winter or just getting out there to see how far you can go means that you need lightweight breathable clothing and sufficient weather protection. Our speed hiking styles are engineered for dynamic movement to support you when you are moving fast. They feature wicking fabrics and active insulation making them ideal for highly aerobic done-in-a-day activities, even in bad weather.

HOW TO CORRECTLY ADJUST YOUR BACKPACK FOR MOUNTAIN TREKS
The slope is steep, the ground uneven and the load heavy. The only noises are your footsteps on the trail, the silence of your thoughts and the far-off sound of the wind whistling through the peaks. Your number one ally for taking your mind off the strain on multi-day treks is a correctly adjusted backpack. We will explain how to adjust your backpack to achieve the perfect balance with 70% of the load on your hips and 30% on your shoulders.
GET VERTICAL: THE MOUNTAIN BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER
I pull my boots out of my backpack and find a pebble stuck in the tread. My instinct is to pull it out and put it somewhere safe – "keep it as a souvenir" my gran would have said. Yet in reality if you want to remember something that's just happened, you don't need a souvenir. Sometimes you can do without photo (well almost!). I'm firing off these lines the day after getting back from Obergurgl. This little town, with its hard-to-pronounce name, is the highest in Austria.
