Aaron Durogati lands himself a spot on the winners podium for a second time with the fastest time. A week after his success on September 8th at the Redbull Dolomite Man, the South Tyrolean picked up another victory at the 8th Red Bull Elements in the French town of Annecy, where the young paraglider won both in the singles and in the team classification. The paragliding competition, which starts on a fixed-rope route and involves three changes from flying and running, ends with a raft landing in the Lac d'Annecy. Once more, Durogati showed precision and skill in high level aviation on this challenging leg.

After 40 minutes and 6 seconds, five minutes ahead of the runner-up, Aaron Durogati flew onto the finisher's podium. At the same time, the mountaineer won the team victory for his team "Les Bulles Gazelles". Four specialists, each of whom completes one of the disciplines in the competition. Together with Logan Fontaine (swimming), Thibaut Baronian (trail) and Jordan Sarrou (mountain bike), Durogati secured first place in the team ranking, after a total time of 4 hours 25 minutes and 5 seconds. The competition, held in Annecy, France, is considered to be a very technically demanding one. Aaron Durogati: "Red Bull Elements is a special competition with an exciting track and many changes. The three changes between flying and running increased the pace and gave the race a big technical element, which I really enjoyed. What's more, the track is beautiful."

Aaron, who is often called "the flying mountaineer" by his fellow South Tyrolean's, was born in Merano and grew up in the middle of the South Tyrolean mountains as the son of a paraglider. He likes to combine Paragliding with other sports and is well-known for setting new standards with Hike & Fly projects. The 32-year-old is an experienced competition athlete: In 2012, he got his first "world champion title" in paragliding, since 2013, the young professional driver in the selected field of the Red Bull X-Alps can start.
