The Alpinmesse Innsbruck 2018 is over for this year - Time for a summary

The Alpinmesse Innsbruck is an interesting meeting place for mountaineers who wish to exchange information on the various topics relating to mountaineering.
Thanks to the interactive design campaign "Design your own jacket", mountaineers with an interest in design were given the opportunity to create their very own style of pure mountain hardshell jacket via our own microsite.

The best six "designers" were invited to come to the Alpinmesse. Together with our R&D team they were able to create their dream jacket in CAD. The final winner was the design from Fabian Pfurtscheller.
The design from Fabian Pfurtscheller convinced our jury due to an interesting and progressive choice of color. The winner will soon be able to wear their very own unique jacket on the mountains.

Further highlights of the alpine fair were the SALEWA fashion show incl. the current winter collection and the legendary booth party Mountaineer meets Mountainbeer which took place on Saturday evening.

The talk "Dreams of stone" by Simon Gietl was an appropriate conclusion to this weekend of mountaineering.
