Even now, months before the next Alpinmesse, the 20th and 21st October 2018 are already firm fixtures on the calendars of numerous mountain sports brands, alpine institutions, mountain guides and alpinists. In 2018, the SALEWA-Adler logo will adorn the Alpinmesse as lead sponsor.

We see ourselves as a pure mountain sports brand, our products are developed by mountaineers for other mountaineers. We're delighted to be able to emphasise this more clearly in cooperation with Alpinmesse. "Our target groups are ambitious, passionate alpinists who want to redefine mountain sports and blaze new trails. These are exactly the kind of people that you meet at the Alpinmesse in Innsbruck, and we are convinced that, as a strong and competent partner of the fair, we will be able to expand our successful platform further", says Stefan Rainer, General Manager of SALEWA.

For over twelve years, this unique consumer trade fair, with over 200 exhibitors at the alpine mecca in Innsbruck, has been an established institution in the mountain sports industry. A new visitor record was set in 2017, with more than 13,000 mountain sports enthusiasts attending on 11th and 12th November to learn more about the latest products from various winter sports equipment manufacturers. "The Alpinmesse focuses on providing advice, information and training on correct mountain conduct, in order to reduce risks in mountain sports to a minimum.

Equipment also plays an important role. We are therefore very proud to have formed a partnership with Salewa, which guarantees a high level of safety on the mountains with its know-how and technical and functional innovation," said Karl Gabl, President of the Austrian Board of Alpine Safety.
