Built for versatile functionality and adaptability in wild, natural environments or urban scenarios, the regular-fit Puez Hemp Durastretch 2-in-1 Pant has a durable Alpine Hemp/Sorona® blend main fabric construction that is ideal for keeping you comfortable – including on windy days or in warmer climates and during high activity levels.
Nature Tech
This pant is all about its unique fabric. Alpine Hemp offers exceptional strength with a great texture, high breathability and excellent moisture management. Our hybrid woven construction blends hemp fibres with Sorona® bio-based polymer fibres for long-lasting enhanced softness and thermoregulating next-to-skin comfort, while the Durastretch panel in the seat area provides additional abrasion resistance and stretch freedom of movement.
Sustainability
Hemp is a naturally functional fibre with a low environmental impact. Hemp farming requires little water and no pesticides, enhances soil restoration, biodiversity and carbon storage due to its rapid growth cycle. It’s blended here with Sorona® responsible plant-based biopolymer fibres made from corn starch to offer even greater softness and material stretch without requiring elastane. This pant is a Salewa Committed product, manufactured according to additionally strict and independently audited environmental and social responsibility standards. Both hemp and Sorona® are fully biodegradable.
Versatility
When temperatures rise, the lower legs zip off to give you a pair of shorts, or you can raise and fix the leg ends with an adjustable drawcord. The fabric is wind resistant for blustery days. The comfortable waistband with snap button and zippered fly can also be worn with a belt. There are two open hand pockets, and a zipped cargo leg pocket for important items that you want to keep close to hand.
