Developed together with mountain guides, the Ortles 3L Powertex Pant is a waterproof, breathable solution built for challenging conditions and exposed situations.
Made of our proprietary 3-layer Powertex weather protection fabric, the Ortles 3-layer pant offers a balanced combination of performance, weight and durability. It has a high water spec (water column: 20,000 mm). During high-output activity, the breathable membrane (20,000 g/m2/24h) transports vapour away to maintain a comfortable wear climate. The athletic fit includes a gusseted crotch for full freedom of movement and ergonomic pre-shaped knees. The close-fitting lower leg and silicon grippers ensure a close fit over your boots (and can accommodate ski boots) and keeps the cuffs secure, minimizing the risk of crampon snags.
This pant is a Salewa Committed with an eco-friendly PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish and is manufactured according to additionally strict and independently-audited environmental and social responsibility standards.
