HUMANS OF THE ALPS
You can think of the Alps in many ways: a mountain range, a geographical region, a geological curiosity. If you are only interested in moving quickly, you can consider them as a problem, or nothing more than a panorama to be photographed from the plane.
If, on the other hand, you are interested in human diversity, the Alps are a perfect terrain for exploration. All you have to do is cross them slowly: on skis, with skins, on public transport when you can't do anything else. That is Arnaud Cottet's plan: to discover the humans of the Alps and their diversity, travelling slowly from San Martino di Castrozza to Lake Geneva.
