Twill Pattern Technologie (TPT)

Twill Pattern Technologie (TPT) is a special sheath weave that reduces the profile in cross-section. For us climbers, that means the rope has increased abrasion resistance on sharp rock edges, and offers a significantly finer surface weave, which prevents dirt and dust from penetrating into the interior fibres.

Endura Dry

Endura Dry is a multi-stage application process in which every each individual core yarn is treated prior to braiding. The cores are then covered with an additional protective cover so that water has no chance. In the 2X dry process, this is repeated a second time. Finally, the rope is treated once again to create a firm, permanent bond between the coating layers and the finished braided rope. Classic, 8-millimetre double rope for climbing tours on rock and ice. Permanently water resistant thanks to the 2X dry treatment. The Double has improved wear and abrasion resistance on sharp edges and a smaller cross section; the smoother surface prevents penetration by dirt particles.
