GORE-TEX® fabrics lead the industry of technical clothing in the provision of waterproof protection, breathability and durability.
The GORE-TEX® membrane is completely water, sleet and at the same time allows for perspiration to pass through it: it is formed by pores which are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor and therefore, water can’t get in, but perspiration can get out. Its durability has been tested and asserted reproducing the most extreme weather conditions in laboratories
GORE-TEX® PACLITE®
Gore-Tex Paclite is ideal when you need a shell that is truly light, breathable and packable. It offers excellent weather protection as it resists extremely wet conditions; it has the highest level of breathability, is very practical thanks to its low weight and minimum pack volume, and has a very comfortable feel for the wearer. It also has a special protective layer in an oil-repellent substance with carbon that protects the membrane from oils, sprays and cosmetics that could affect its performance.
GORE-TEX® PRO SHELLS®
GORE-TEX® PRO SHELLS®: When you need a garment for extreme and adverse conditions, GORE-TEX® Pro Shells 3L are equipped for durable waterproof protection combined with rugged performance and an extremely high level of breathability. 3L GORE-TEX® Pro Shell laminates use a thin, low denier, low density woven fabric backer instead of tricot knit, thus providing improved abrasion and snagging resistance on the inside (at least 2 twice as much). The thin yarn (15 deniers) of the woven backer implies lighter weight too (15 grams per square meter weight savings): valuable grams have been shaved from the total weight of the garment, still assuring high breathability and comfort. The waterproof and windproof protection of GORE-TEX® fabric has not been compromised…only enhanced with high breathability and improved freedom of movement. Furthermore, the new woven backer produces a crisp look on the inside and makes seams virtually invisible, permitting more clean styles!
